Festival ticketing options have been updated in response to audience and Member feedback.
There will be three options to purchase tickets for TIFF 2023.
Please review our Key Dates to find out when you’re eligible to buy.
Premium screenings offer a premium in-person experience, and can include red-carpet screenings, World or North American Premieres, and/or audience Q&As. Regular screenings refer to all non-Premium screenings and make up the majority of screenings at the Festival. Films scheduled as Premium screenings may include Regular screenings in their second and third showings at the Festival.
How can I access a Festival ticket pre-sale?
TIFF Members will have access to ticket pre-sales between August 18 and August 24, based on Membership level. Please see Key Dates to find out when you’re eligible to buy. The deadline to become a Member to access individual-ticket pre-sale is Monday, August 21.
Visa Infinite cardholders will receive an advance window to purchase individual tickets online. Visa will reach out to eligible individuals directly with more information.
TIFF Insiders can purchase individual tickets before the public, but after TIFF Members. Become an Insider by signing up for The Weekly e-newsletter by Thursday, August 24. You’ll receive an access code on Friday, August 25.
Is there a limit to the number of Festival tickets I can purchase?
In order to ensure a fair distribution of tickets during the Festival, each visitor may only purchase a maximum of four tickets per account, per event. This limit exists for Members and non-Members.
How do I purchase tickets in accessible seating locations?
All Festival venues offer accessible and companion seating in each cinema. Seating is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Though we do our best to accommodate every request, seating cannot be guaranteed.
Tickets for accessible seating locations and companion seating are booked over the phone with TIFF’s Call Centre. Our Call Centre is open daily from 10am to 7pm at 416-599-2033 or 1-888-258-8433.
If you require accessible seating for your Curated Ticket Package, please contact our Call Centre or email customerrelations@tiff.net.
If I can no longer attend the Festival, can I get a refund?
All sales are final. TIFF has a no-refund and no-exchange policy on Festival ticket packages.
