Can I exchange my tickets?

Can I exchange my tickets?

Tickets for digital screenings and talks cannot be exchanged. Tickets for in-person events can be exchanged beginning September 8 at 10am on TIFF Account Manager. You cannot exchange tickets across different platforms, meaning in-cinema tickets can only be exchanged for other in-cinema tickets, drive-in tickets for other drive-in tickets, and open-air tickets for other open-air tickets.

To exchange your tickets, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to TIFF Account Manager.
  2. Click “Manage Tickets” and select your event.
  3. Click “Exchange.”
  4. Select the seat(s) to exchange.
  5. Select a new event from the list.
  6. Choose a seat from the interactive seat map and click “Add to Cart” (if it is a digital event or General Admission, click on the main tile).
  7. Review the details of your exchange.
  8. Submit your order.

Can I transfer my tickets to a friend?

Tickets for all events can be transferred to a friend through your TIFF Account Manager starting August 26. Tickets for digital screenings and talks must be transferred by September 7 at 5pm.

To transfer your tickets, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to TIFF Account Manager.
  2. Click “Manage Tickets” and select your event.
  3. Click “Transfer.”
  4. Select the seat(s) to transfer.
  5. Fill in your recipient’s information and click “Transfer.”
  6. The transfer is only complete once the recipient accepts the tickets.

If your recipient does not accept your offer, then they will not be able to use your tickets. Your recipient will receive an email from TIFF Customer Relations with instructions to accept the offer. You can cancel your transfer at any time through the link in your transfer confirmation email.
