Douglas Allison is the Chief Financial Officer of TIFF. Douglas has over two decades of experience in sports, arts and entertainment, leading two of the country’s largest celebrations of Canadian achievement, the Grey Cup and the Toronto International Film Festival. At both of these organizations, Douglas was a key driver of revenue growth and financial sustainability leading them to some of their most prosperous periods in history.
Prior to joining TIFF, Douglas was Vice-President of Business Operations at the Canadian Football League (CFL) where he played a pivotal role in shaping the CFL into a dynamic and profitable sporting organization. Other career highlights include roles with the Ottawa Senators, and Ernst & Young, one of the world's leading professional accounting firms working both in Toronto and London, England.
Douglas is also the co-founder of the Jack Lake Film Festival, an annual volunteer-run event supporting the North Kawartha Food Bank.
