Overheard at TIFF

Some of the most magical and memorable moments at the annual Toronto International Film Festival happen beyond the reach of our cameras (and Twitter fingers). These overheard moments, passed on by fans, staff and even streetcar drivers, become lore and legend, and are often the laugh-out-loud and inspiring moments we remember most when looking back at past Festivals.

Rather than letting these memories fade, this year we commissioned artist Franziska Barczyk to immortalize them with a unique and vibrant sensibility that would invite those who were there to relive these moments, and those watching around the world — and following our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels — to feel their impact for the first time.
