Hosted by the CBC’s Eleanor Wachtel, Books on Film explores the intersections of cinema and literature. Film screenings are accompanied by in-depth onstage conversations with renowned authors, filmmakers, and screenwriters about the challenging but rewarding process of adaptation.

Secret Movie Club is an in-person screening series that showcases the best in independent cinema, from highly anticipated festival favourites, to small-budget indies, to the year’s most buzzworthy art-house films. Each screening is accompanied by a Q&A with a special guest.
