TIFF announces appointment of Kennisha Archer as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead

TORONTO — TIFF is delighted to announce that Kennisha Archer has been appointed to the new role of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Lead. Kennisha joins TIFF on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

“We are excited to have Kennisha join our TIFF family ― her role is a great addition and shows our ongoing commitment to further integrate Diversity & Inclusion in everything we do,” said Marsha John-Greenwood, Vice-President People & Culture, TIFF. “Kennisha comes to us with a wide range of experience in the field and will support the development of existing and new initiatives.”

Kennisha comes to TIFF from Humber College, where she held the position of Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion Analyst. Over the last five years, Kenisha has dedicated her time to working in the area of Diversity and is additionally a proactive member of the community. Her experience includes assessing and developing DEI practices, implementing inclusive recruitment and selection practices, reviewing employment equity practices, and creating strategic diverse partnerships with the community. Beyond that, Kennisha has expertise in developing and facilitating training which includes human rights, anti-racism, conflict resolution, unconscious bias, and power and privilege.

Kennisha joins TIFF to support the development and implementation of the revised Diversity Strategy and to be an organization-wide subject matter expert to partner with colleagues and deliver organization goals.
