TIFF 2022 excitement continues with Festival tickets on-sale dates announced

Ticket prices and packages revealed; official venues back at full capacity; rush tickets return

TORONTO — The Toronto International Film Festival has started the countdown for its 47th edition, taking place September 8–18, 2022. To celebrate the exciting return of the full-scale and in-person Festival, TIFF is giving eager film lovers the chance to get a head start on purchasing their tickets, offering flexible price points and a wide selection of packages. Starting on May 25, 2022, TIFF Members will get first access to purchase Festival ticket packages (according to level). Join or renew your TIFF Membership to receive exclusive benefits, and make first selections on screenings. Learn more at tiff.net/membership.

In-person ticket packages become available on the pre-sale starting May 25, which is exclusive to TIFF Members (according to level), followed by June 15 for Visa cardholders and June 22 for the public. Ticket packages are available until August 14, while quantities last. In addition to package offerings, individual tickets will also be available. Ticket prices start at $19 for Regular screenings and $27 for Premium screenings. Festival audiences will be able to enjoy the best of international and Canadian cinema at TIFF Bell Lightbox, Roy Thomson Hall, the Visa Screening Room at the Princess of Wales Theatre, Scotiabank Theatre Toronto, and the newly added Royal Alexandra Theatre, completing TIFF’s walkable Festival Village.

Recently announced, TIFF kicked off a first-of-its-kind Festival deal with the TIFF Under-25 Free Pass. Welcoming youth audiences back to the big screen, the free pass is available to individuals who are 24 and under and includes access to purchase individual tickets to the 2022 Festival on Insiders’ Day. TIFF offers affordable access to this age group, starting at $11 for Regular screenings.
