Record-breaking new partners announced for TIFF's 49th Festival

Toronto — TIFF announces that the 49th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival, presented by Rogers, kicks off this week with a record-breaking portfolio of 37 new partners, joining 57 existing partners, with total partnerships increasing by 25% over 2023 and making it the most varied list of category partners since pre-pandemic. As one of Canada’s largest and most globally recognized arts nonprofits, TIFF offers its 94 partners a unique opportunity to engage with global audiences while supporting its recognized social impact initiatives.

“The commitment and collaboration of our partners play a pivotal role in making this world-class event possible, helping us celebrate the power of film and bring together voices from around the globe,” says TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey. “Together, we continue to elevate the TIFF experience, creating unforgettable moments for filmmakers, industry professionals, and public audiences alike.”

Earlier this summer, TIFF welcomed Rogers Communications, its new Festival Presenting Partner and sponsor of the People’s Choice Awards. Rogers is joined by longtime Major Sponsors RBC, now in their 17th year as the Official Bank of TIFF, and Visa, celebrating their 27th year as the Official Payment Service of TIFF. TIFF’s three largest partners will support the public audience experience through large-scale consumer engagements, special events, and support of TIFF’s social impact initiatives.
