TIFF Lightbox is a film and cultural centre in the heart of downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We are located in the first five floors of the Festival Tower on the northwest corner of King Street West and John Street. Visit the temporary exhibition, watch a film screening, or browse the TIFF Shop. The film collection and archives in our Film Reference Library are also open for the public to enjoy. How to get to TIFF Lightbox

Subway

TIFF Lightbox is closest to St. Andrew subway station on Line 1. TIFF is a 450m or 6 minute walk west from the subway.

Streetcar or Bus

Take the King streetcar (Route 504). The closest stop is John St. This will bring you directly in front of TIFF Lightbox.

train

GO Transit or Via Rail

Take a GO Train, GO Bus or Via Rail train into Union Station, then a 15min walk or transfer to TTC subway (St. Andrew stop) to TIFF Lightbox.

Paid parking is available underneath TIFF Lightbox, but is not operated by TIFF.

Reitman Square Parking

Precise ParkLink runs the parking underneath TIFF Lightbox. Note: P2 is not available from the elevator. It must be accessed from P1 or P3, then walking up/down the ramp. Parking App Code: #1176

Accessibility

TIFF Lightbox's entire building is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with any other mobility impairments. We have escalators to each level with publicly accessible cinemas, lobby elevators to all levels, and barrier-free washroom facilities on each level.

Accessible Seating
Accessible seating locations are available in all cinemas at TIFF Lightbox. To book accessible seating, please contact our Call Centre, open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm, at 416-599-2033 or 1-888-258-8433. Seating is limited and cannot be guaranteed; it is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Audio descriptive and subtitling
The accessibility features we offer at our cinemas are: Assisted Listening, Descriptive Sound, and Closed Captioning, and Open Captioning on occasion. Please note Descriptive Sound, Closed Captioning, and Open Captioning are not available for all films.

Service and Support Animals
Guide dogs and service animals are welcome in all public spaces at TIFF Lightbox, including the cinemas. Emotional support animals will be permitted on a discretionary basis. Front of House staff may request that you provide documentation from a regulated health professional confirming the animal is required as per the AODA’s Customer Service Standards. Please let Front of House staff know if your service animal needs water or any assistance.
