How do I buy tickets?

Individual tickets for both in-person and digital events go on sale on TIFF Account Manager beginning August 26. Please see Key Dates to find out when you’re eligible to buy. Some pricing can be found here, and more will be announced at a later date.

Once the Festival begins on September 9, tickets for digital screenings can be purchased directly on digital TIFF Bell Lightbox, pending availability.

How do I access my tickets?

Digital screenings will appear in your digital TIFF Bell Lightbox Library.

To access tickets for in-person events, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to TIFF Account Manager from your mobile device.
  2. Tap the menu on the top left.
  3. Select “Manage Tickets.”
  4. Find your event.
  5. Under “My Tickets,” select your seat.

Tickets can be scanned directly from TIFF Account Manager, or added to your mobile wallet.

How do I access a ticket pre-sale?

TIFF Members will have access to ticket pre-sales between August 26 and September 4, based on Membership level. Please see Key Dates to find out when you’re eligible to buy. The deadline to become a Member to access a pre-sale is September 1.

Visa Infinite cardholders will receive an advance window to purchase individual tickets online. Visa will reach out to eligible individuals directly with more information.

TIFF Insiders can purchase individual tickets before the public, but after TIFF Members. Become an Insider by signing up for The Weekly e-newsletter by September 2. You’ll receive an access code on September 3.

Is there a limit to the number of tickets I can purchase?

In order to ensure a fair distribution of tickets during the Festival, each visitor may only purchase a maximum of two tickets per account, per event. This limit exists for Members and non-Members.

What is the difference between Premium and Regular?

Premium screenings refer to films that are part of the Gala or Special Presentation programmes. Regular screenings refer to films in all other programmes.

What if there are no tickets available?

When a screening no longer has available tickets, it is referred to as “off-sale.” Inventory may fluctuate, so we recommend regularly checking TIFF Account Manager and digital TIFF Bell Lightbox or visiting tiff.net/available (after August 24).

Can I make a group booking?

Group sales are not available for TIFF 2021. If you are interested in purchasing tickets for the purpose of corporate hosting, reach out to sponsorship@tiff.net.

What payment methods do you accept?

TIFF prefers Visa, but we accept all major credit cards. Debit is also accepted for in-person purchases at TIFF Bell Lightbox. To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we encourage you to limit your cash purchases.
