How do I buy a digital ticket package?

We're excited to offer digital ticket packages for TIFF 2021. Packages go on sale exclusively via TIFF Account Manager. Please see Key Dates to find out when you’re eligible to buy. There are two types of packages available: Digital Regular Ticket Packages, available in packs of 3, 5, 10, and 20 films, and Digital Premium Ticket Packages, available in packs of 3 and 5 films. To purchase a digital ticket package, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to TIFF Account Manager.
  2. Select “2021 TIFF Digital Packages.”
  3. Click the + symbol next to your desired package type.
  4. Click “Add to Cart” and then “Continue.”
  5. Proceed through checkout.

How do I redeem my digital ticket package?

On August 23 you will receive an email with a randomized start time between August 29 and September 2 to begin your digital ticket package redemption. All packages must be redeemed by September 2 at 10pm. Please see Key Dates to find out when you’re eligible to redeem. You will only receive one package-redemption start time, even if you purchase more than one package. To secure an earlier redemption time, consider joining or upgrading your Membership before August 15.

We cannot guarantee you will get your first choice of screenings. Please come prepared with second or third options. All screenings are subject to availability.

What if I’m not available to redeem at my assigned time?

You may redeem your package any time from your assigned start time, until September 2 at 10pm. We recommend redeeming as close to your start time as possible, to give you the best chance at securing the tickets you want most. If you are unavailable, you can provide a friend with your login credentials to make selections on your behalf. Packages cannot be redeemed after September 2 at 10pm.

Can I redeem more than one ticket to a digital film screening?

Yes. You may redeem up to two tickets per screening to share with another household. The second ticket must be transferred before September 7 at 5pm or it will be voided. Digital tickets are final sale, no refunds. To learn how to transfer tickets, please click here.

What is the difference between Premium and Regular?

Premium screenings refer to films that are part of the Gala or Special Presentation programmes. Regular screenings refer to films in all other programmes.

Can I purchase more than one package?

You may purchase up to one type of each package (Regular and Premium).

Can I select vouchers or exchange my tickets later?

No. Your package must be redeemed in full before you check out, and vouchers are not available. There are no exchanges for digital events, and all sales are final.
