When will I find out when I can redeem my ticket package?

Ticket redemption details, including your assigned ticketing window, will be shared the week before Labour Day.

How can I redeem my ticket package?

You can redeem your package during your assigned ticketing window:

  • Online through TIFF Festival Account Manager
  • In person at the Press & Market Box Office
  • By phone through TIFF Customer Relations

Package redemption is not available before your assigned window begins.

Can I have printed tickets?

Yes. Printed tickets are available upon request. As part of TIFF’s ongoing green initiatives, we encourage delegates to use digital tickets whenever possible.

The easiest way to access your tickets is through the Market app or TIFF Festival Account Manager. If you’re calling or visiting the Press & Market Box Office, we can also send your tickets to you by SMS.

Can I change my assigned ticketing window?

No. Assigned ticketing windows are fixed and cannot be changed.

Your window indicates when you can begin selecting tickets. You can continue redeeming your package after your window opens.

Can someone call me when my ticketing window opens?

We’re unable to provide individual calls when ticketing windows open.

If you require accessibility-related support, the TIFF Accessibility Line is the most streamlined option for ticketing support. Our team can assist with your accessibility needs and help identify the best available seating, subject to availability. Wait times still apply.

Accessibility Line: 416-599-2033 or 1-888-258-8433, press option 3.

Am I guaranteed tickets to the films I want?

No. Package inventory is first-come, first-served, and accreditation does not guarantee tickets to specific screenings or accessible seating.

Press & Market package seating is automatically assigned.

What if I require accessible seating or seating for a support person?

All TIFF screenings offer accessible seating. We make every effort to accommodate accessibility and support person seating requests; however, seating is limited and subject to availability. A support person is someone supporting a guest with accessibility needs during their visit to the cinema, such as with navigation, communication, seating, or personal care. Support persons will not be charged for a ticket but must have a ticket to enter the event.

Guests requiring accessible seating or seating for a support person should contact TIFF Customer Relations in advance through the TIFF Call Centre at 416-599-2033 or 1-888-258-8433, press option 3, or by email at customerrelations@tiff.net. This allows our team to discuss your seating requirements and identify available options that best support your needs.

Why is a ticket available now that wasn’t available during my package redemption?

Ticket inventory fluctuates throughout the Festival as tickets are released, returned, or exchanged. A screening or seat that was unavailable during your package redemption may become available later.

You can exchange your ticket for newly available inventory, subject to the exchange rules and availability.

I couldn’t get the tickets I need. What are my options?

You can:

  • Check Market or Press & Market screenings available through your accreditation.
    • Check back on the day of the screening for same-day tickets.
      • Join the Rush line on the day of the screening.

All options are subject to availability.

Can I exchange tickets from my package?

Yes. Package tickets can be exchanged online, in person, or by phone, up to 4 hours before the screening, as of Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

I can’t use my tickets anymore. What can I do?

You can return your package tickets online up to 4 hours before the screening.

Please note that same-day returns are not available at the Press & Market Box Office.

Your ticket usage is reviewed each year and may be considered when determining your eligibility for Press & Market passes at future Festivals.

I’m part of the cast or crew and want a ticket to my film. Can TIFF provide one?

Cast and crew tickets are distributed by the film’s rights holder. TIFF does not control this allocation.

You may purchase a ticket through regular ticketing channels, subject to availability.

What are same-day tickets?

Select Market and Press delegates may claim complimentary tickets to same-day public screenings in addition to their advanced ticket package.

Same-day tickets come from remaining inventory on the day. Seat selection is not available.

If only one ticket remains, we may only be able to provide one ticket. A support person is therefore not guaranteed a ticket.

What are Rush tickets?

Rush tickets are complimentary tickets for Market and Press delegates to public screenings, subject to availability.

Rush access is first-come, first-served, with one ticket available per delegate, per screening. Your accreditation pass will be scanned if a ticket is available.

What are Market and Press & Market screenings?

  • Market screenings are intended for accredited Market delegates.
  • Press & Market screenings are available to both accredited Press and Market delegates.

Entry is first-come, first-served and subject to capacity. A valid accreditation pass is required and will be scanned upon entry.

If you have a Lobby Pass, it includes +1 access for a support person, subject to capacity.

You can find the Market and Press & Market screening schedule at tiff.net/schedule.

Do I need a ticket for Market and Press & Market screenings?

No. Eligible Market and Press delegates do not need a separate ticket.

Entry is first-come, first-served and subject to capacity. A valid Press or Market accreditation pass is required and will be scanned upon entry.

Does my Press & Market Pass give me access to a single-ticket pre-sale?

Single ticket pre-sales are a benefit of eligible year-round TIFF Memberships and provide access to single tickets ahead of the public sale. A Market pass is separate from an Industry Membership and does not include Industry Membership benefits.

You may purchase additional tickets during the single-ticket public sale, but these tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable and cannot be used as part of your ticket package. You cannot purchase a ticket through the public sale and later exchange it, return it, or have it applied to your package.

Your package can only be redeemed once your assigned ticketing window opens. Market delegates will receive information about their ticketing access and assigned window once finalized.

Can I have someone manage my tickets on my behalf?

No. For security reasons, ticketing access is dedicated to the account holder.

Can my support person hold my place in line for a screening, Rush line, or at the Press & Market Box Office?

No. The pass holder must be present in line for screenings, the Rush line, and Press & Market Box Office services. A support person cannot hold your place in line.

Can I resell my pass or tickets?

No. Passes and associated benefits cannot be resold.

If tickets or passes are transferred or offered for resale, TIFF may cancel the tickets and revoke your accreditation, pass benefits, or ticketing privileges without refund.

Can I use another person’s Market or Press pass or benefits?

Market passes and benefits cannot be transferred to another person.

Passholders also cannot use the benefits associated with another passholder’s accreditation, even if they have written permission from that passholder.

What does the Press & Market Box Office do?

Located on the 200-level of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building, 255 Front St. W., the Press & Market Box Office is exclusively for Press Pass holders, Market+ Pass holders, Market+ Buyers, and Market+ Access Canada Pass holders.

The team can assist with:

  • Advanced ticket redemption
  • Same-day ticket access
  • Ticketing support

Self-service kiosks are also available.

Access to the Press & Market Box Office is subject to wait times. If you need to sit while waiting for accessibility-related reasons, please let a staff member know. We will save your place in line while you are seated.

All staff, including supervisors and managers, must follow TIFF policies and system restrictions and cannot override them. Staff can only assist with the inventory and options available to them.

A valid pass is required for entry and will be scanned upon arrival. This is not a public Box Office, and public tickets and Will Call are not available here.

A note about Customer Relations support

During the Festival, Customer Relations may experience high volumes and extended wait times. Our team will do its best to answer your immediate questions and assist with your ticketing needs.

For detailed feedback or requests that do not require immediate assistance, please contact us by email.
