VOTE. LET'S MAKE THE NEXT BIG FILM.
Film Takes Passion. Show Yours and Vote In the BlackBerry People's Choice Award.
The People's Choice Award is almost as old as the Toronto International Film Festival itself. Since 1978, audiences have been voting for their favourite Festival films.
Over two dozen winners have gone on to receive Academy Award nominations; 10 have won for Best Picture, Best Foreign Language Picture or Best Documentary.
As a sponsor of the Award, BlackBerry® is proud to be part of that success.
Recent recipients of the prize for the public's favourite include:
2012: Silver Linings Playbook
2011: Where Do We Go Now?
2010: The King's Speech
2009: Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire
2008: Slumdog Millionaire
2007: Eastern Promises
Use your ticket stubs to vote online or in the cinema, starting September 5.
The BlackBerry People's Choice Award–winning film screens for FREE at the Ryerson Theatre on the final night of the Festival, Sunday, September 15, at 6pm.
