Now in its third season, Books on Film brings together book and film lovers to examine great cinema that began as outstanding literature. Host Eleanor Wachtel of CBC's Writers and Company welcomes filmmakers, authors and experts to discuss the art of adaptation and the sometimes challenging passage from page to screen. The first 100 subscribers will receive a complimentary copy of each book featured, courtesy of Random House Canada.

Each month our host Annabelle Waugh, Food Director of Canadian Living, welcomes celebrated guests from the culinary world to discuss the intersections of cinema, culture and gastronomy. Discover the facts, formulas and phenomena that underpin some of the great films of recent times!
New this year: Experts from the Ontario Science Centre will be on-hand at Science on Film events to offer thought-provoking demonstrations inspired by the themes explored in each film. The first 100 subscribers of Science on Film will receive two free passes to the Ontario Science Centre, including admission to Game On 2.0: An Exhibition.
