TIFF Bell Lightbox

Jesse Wente is Head of Film Programmes for TIFF Bell Lightbox. His responsibilities include overall film scheduling, programming Exclusive Engagements, overseeing series and TIFF Cinematheque programming.

Shane Smith is Director, Public Programmes for TIFF Bell Lightbox. Previously he oversaw all in-flight programming for Air Canada and before that, Director of Programming for the digital TV channels Movieola - The Short Film Channel and Silver Screen Classics. He was also Director of the Canadian Film Centre’s Worldwide Short Film Festival. His writing has appeared in the Canadian publications Xtra! and Cinema Scope. He has been a programmer, jury member and speaker at film festivals all over the world.
