The Sponsorship Team is responsible for developing and growing corporate partnerships to generate revenue opportunities for TIFF, including TIFF Bell Lightbox and the Toronto International Film Festival. This position, reporting to an Associate Director, Sponsorship, is one of ten account holder positions and is responsible for maintaining and growing a specified portfolio of sponsors, and cultivating new sponsors for TIFF.
Reporting to the Communications Coordinator, the Communications Intern will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting in media relations and publicity efforts to promote TIFF’s programming. We are interested in applicants who have a specific interest in media and communications. This internship is an ideal opportunity for a student or a recent graduate of an applicable degree or diploma programme.
Reporting to the Manager, Industry Office, the Industry Office Coordinator is responsible for carrying out administrative tasks throughout the year, and leading up to our major Festivals – the Toronto International Film Festival, Canada’s Top Ten and TIFF Kids.
The Sid Adilman Mentorship Programme was established in memory of Toronto Star’s veteran entertainment journalist Sid Adilman. This programme will develop the journalistic skills of one emerging journalist who demonstrates a strong interest in film and the arts. The Sid Adilman Mentorship Programme is made possible through philanthropic donations to the Sid Adilman Mentorship Programme endowment fund.
Usher, Cinemas provides customer service to TBLB visitors and answers building and programme related questions. Ushers engage in visitor service interactions, ensure visitor safety within TBLB, and clean cinemas and lobby areas. Ushers are responsible for collecting and retaining ticket stubs and enforcing TBLB policies.
