TIFF Kids Festival Industry Programming
After yet another successful expansion in 2013, TIFF Kids Festival Industry Conference returns in 2014 with a 4-day programme that runs from April 14–17. Designed to inspire and engage creators of children's content, the conference will feature a diverse group of guest speakers from around the world, ranging from filmmakers, writers and animators to researchers, interactive producers and funders. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from some of the leading minds in children's entertainment and connect with professionals in the film, television and interactive business.
This year's conference will open with a keynote session by Graham Annable, co-director of The Boxtrolls, the next feature film by renowned animation studio LAIKA (Coraline, ParaNorman). The closing keynote will be delivered by Academy Award–nominated producer Caroline Baron, who is also the co-founder of the new children's media company Yummico and founder of FilmAid International. In addition, TIFF Industry will once again host Sesame Workshop Pitch, an opportunity for emerging filmmakers to pitch their ideas to Sesame Workshop, the non-profit educational organization behind Sesame Street.
