Talent Development

TIFF Industry runs a series of tailored professional development programmes, to assist talented filmmakers to fast track their careers and projects. The broad range on offer includes bespoke opportunities for directors (Talent Lab), actors (Rising Stars) and filmmakers with films in Official Selection at the Toronto International Film Festival (Filmmaker Boot Camp). Filmmaking teams are encouraged to apply for Telefilm Canada PITCH THIS!, and producers may apply to OMDC’s International Financing Forum, Producers Lab Toronto and Studio.

Directors with strong screenwriting skills may be eligible for TIFF’s new Len Blum Residency programme.
