Louise began her own publishing house at age 25, and helped build Lester & Orpen Dennys into an internationally renowned Canadian publishing house. Today she heads the Knopf Canada, Random House Canada and Vintage Canada imprints, synonymous with books of outstanding quality in various genres, award-winning and bestselling books in Canada and around the world. She is a recipient of the Order of Canada for her contribution to Canadian culture.
