This Bill Murray-starring update of A Christmas Carol set in the cutthroat world of the New York television industry has become a cult favourite.
A rare example of Dickens' work being translated into a contemporary setting, this resituating of A Christmas Carol in the cutthroat world of the New York television industry has become a cult favourite. Bill Murray is outstanding as Frank Cross, a mean, vicious TV executive staging a live television version of A Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve, who finds himself visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future and being brought face to face with the error of his ways. The wonderful supporting cast includes Karen Allen, Bobcat Goldthwait, Carol Kane, John Houseman, and, in a lovely cameo, the great Robert Mitchum.
