Copious wackiness ensues when a devoted young wife (Claudette Colbert) determines to head to Palm Beach for a quickie divorce from her impoverished husband and an almost as quick marriage to a rich man, for the most natural of reasons: so that she can funnel her newfound wealth back to her soon-to-be ex.
