5 Dysfunctional People in a Car

Five family members crowd into a car to take grandma to a nursing home against her will. An omniscient narrator reveals each person’s predicament, divulging their caustic thoughts about each other and the transpiring events. Even the dog has come along for the drive and in the end, gets the last bark. KM

Pat Mills has co-written and directed the feature Secondary High (02) and written and directed several short films, including Pat’s First Kiss (08), which screened at the Festival in 2008, Babysitting Andy (07), Marjorie (08) and 5 Dysfunctional People in a Car (09).
