- Martin Paul-Hus
Producer, Stay and Friends From France
Martin began his career by producing the films of his friends, and then those of filmmakers he liked like Nic Roeg. In the Quebec world of filmmaking, he is an exception because he has produced more films with international directors than with locals. He speaks of international funding as something "fun", and of "the belief of scripts without borders". His last production, Restless, by famed Israeli director Amos Kollek, was selected for Official Competition in Berlin and was co-produced with France, Belgium, Germany and Israel, shot in Montreal, New York and Jerusalem.
