Administrative Intern, Theatre Operations
This will be an exciting year for TIFF as we present unique programming in our new home and the world's premiere centre for film, TIFF Bell Lightbox. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who wants to be part of a new era in Toronto's cultural history.
Reporting to the Theatre Staff Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the work of the Theatre Operations department. This internship is an ideal opportunity for a student or recent graduate of an applicable degree or diploma programme.
Responsibilities Shall include but not be limited to… • Creating and distributing all administrative paperwork associated with the festival’s theatre operations, including screening reports, staff schedules with pictures, time sheets, etc. • Assisting in the creation, formatting, proofing and distribution of festival flowcharts • Requesting and supervising office volunteers • During festival, assisting with all incoming paperwork, including statistics • During festival, assisting with delivering supplies to venues as required
Contract dates: July 23, 2012 – September 21, 2012
Minimum Requirements• Flexible work schedule, some evening work and weekend work is required • Very familiar with Gmail, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
