I wrote a longer report on Michael Moore's Traverse City Film Festival for
Indiewire
. But I filed that copy before the festival's award winners were announced. I'm pleased to say that several titles from TIFF 07 were among the list, including
Profit Motive and the Whispering Wind
(which played last year in Wavelengths and is pictured above) for the Founders Prize for a work shorter than feature length;
Body of War
as Best Documentary; and the fiction films
The Pope's Toilet
for Best Storytelling; and
Buddha Collapsed Out of Shame
for the Founders Prize. See the
full list of winners
on the TCFF blog.
