Outside the Ryerson, in the line up for Wilson Yip's new Kungfu-fusion MMA action movie, "FLASH POINT" I came across some hardcore kungfu dudes (I think they were hailing from Chicago) and we made an action movie of our own.
As actors, they were very difficult to work with (Fine! It's me that's difficult to work with. I refuse to step on set unless someone sprays an entire bottle of Old Spice into the air.)
-- And seeing as how we only had a 17 million dollar budget (in monopoly money), it was difficult to meet all of their trailer demands (I had asked for a plasma screen and a bucket of pre-chewed chicken), and we also had to make the movie before FLASH POINT let in.
So, after years of practising, they finally hit all of their marks and did a bunch of crazy jump kicks and stuff which I obviously taught them how to do. Okay, so maybe not. But I wish I did.
So the retro-scripted plot of our movie (since I'm assuming most of you straight laced types won't "get" it), is that 2 groups of twin brothers are practising their kungfu skills, in the midnight madness line, when they are attacked by approximately 60 invisible android ninjas. Chaos ensues, justice
prevails. Then the brothers turn on each other like after you beat the last boss in that double dragon arcade game! Bet you didn't see that coming.
Oh ya, end spoilers.
Check out the clip yo! There's not even any CGI or wires in it! These guys are for real.
...From the mysterious, crumpled piece of paper they left me with, I understand you can find more info on these guys at: myspace.com/lazy brown productions.
Thanks LAZY BROWN PRODUCTIONS!
